Training

In addition to our main business as a premium med spa, we also offer pay-to-train programs through our sister business, Path to Aesthetics. Our training programs are designed specifically for nurses and medical practitioners ready to expand into the high-growth field of aesthetics. Whether you’re looking to enhance your clinical skillset, transition careers, or open your own practice, we provide the hands-on education, mentorship, and real-world experience needed to succeed.

Comprehensive Injectable Training & Mentorship Program

Advanced neurotoxin and dermal filler education with guaranteed
hands-on training and extended clinical mentorship.

We’ve created a tailored, academic curriculum aimed at teaching anatomy, fundamental concepts, assessment skills, treatment techniques, risk management, hygiene and pre- and post-care best practices.

This material is provided in a take-home manual for on-going reference and is broken up into basic and advanced neurotoxin and dermal filler modules.

Course work is provided in a class room setting in one of our spa locations over the course of a full, two-day block session, inclusive of guaranteed, hands-on skills lab, under the guidance of our Medical Director, Sarah Greenwald F-NP.

Trainees are required to bring their own models and are provided product and supplies for treatment practice, under direct supervision of our lead trainer.

All trainees are guaranteed extended mentorship, during which they have access to any of our spa locations to bring additional models and eventually paying customers until sign off from our lead trainer that they are proficient to practice on their own, in a legally compliant, working under a medical director within a medical practice.

During this time, mentorship will be at the trainee’s own pace, entirely dependent on the trainee’s securing models or paying customers and scheduling time for mentor oversight for treatment practice.

Note that skills lab during academic learning only includes the practice of basic treatment types and techniques and trainees will only get exposure to many of these basic techniques during extended mentorship due to the limited time of the classroom and skills lab modules.

Advanced techniques are only taught, in practice during the mentorship phase, to trainees who have advanced to a stage of proficiency where they have proven solid understanding of anatomy, concepts, assessment, risk management, hygiene, and pre- and post-care AND have received written sign off from our lead trainer.

Upon completion of training, trainees will be provided with a certificate stating the course and practice work they’ve learned and hours they’ve trained under mentorship, certifying their proficiency to practice on their own, in a legally compliant format.

Trainees who demonstrate commitment to their craft and complete the mentorship program may be offered the opportunity to contract with Sarah Abrahm Skincare LLC, the medical practice operating within the Laura S.B. Aesthetics portfolio of spas. Upon contract, injectors will have free range of any spa locations to schedule clients based on availability.

Injectors must commit to ongoing compliance with all rules and regulations of the medical practice to remain in employ of the practice.
